When it comes to auto repairs, our Orlando Toyota service center can do it all. We have state-of-the-art facilities and trained Toyota technicians on deck, and no matter what you need, we can help you make it happen. However, some auto repairs are more difficult than others and we're here to satisfy your curiosity on the matter - which are the toughest to complete? Check out what our Orlando auto repair techs had to say about it.
Which auto repairs do you think are the most difficult?
Transmission repairs: Your car transmission plays an integral role in your car's performance and because of that, the repairs to it can be somewhat costly. This often means that drivers will delay or even skip getting them done altogether to save a few bucks, so by the time their Orlando Toyota hits our service drive the transmission is in pretty dire shape and needs a large and costly auto repair appointment to get it back in working order. Usually, in this instance, our techs will have to remove or dismantle the engine to return it to its former state, so it's worth it to shell out for those transmission service appointments (trust us).
Clutch repairs: We don't see too many clutch repairs here at Toyota of Orlando, believe it or not. Manual transmission cars just aren't as common as they used to be and as such, aren't brought in to be fixed as often. However, when we do see this type of auto repair it's usually because the owner has been careless with their driving habits and driven the clutch into the ground prematurely. This typically results in damage to the transmission as well, which opens up a whole new box of repairs.
Spark plug replacements: Spark plugs sound so easy, right? You pop the hood, pull out the bad spark plugs, and stick a new one into its place. Well, you're halfway right. The act of replacing a spark plug doesn't take much effort or time, but actually locating where they're housed under the hood is a whole other story. Oftentimes the housing is in a super inconvenient spot that takes a lot of work to get to; that's where the time and labor start to add up.
Engine replacements: An engine swap also sounds relatively easy, right? Pull the old one out and drop a new one in. Trust us, this auto repair is anything but. The engine in your Orlando Toyota isn't just sitting there - it's attached to a ton of other parts with seemingly endless cables, wires, hoses, and lines. All of them have to be disconnected, lines have to be flushed, and there may be other small repairs to be made after the old engine has been pulled out. Then the new engine has to be dropped in and reconnected to all of the aforementioned cables, wires, hoses, and lines before you get up and running again. It's a major, major auto repair that requires a huge amount of time.
