Make your Toyota more comfortable with car accessories

If you spend a lot of time behind the wheel - or even if you don't - you want your car to be as comfortable as possible. But that doesn't mean you have to spring for the most expensive car out there (thank god). Our Orlando Toyotas are inherently comfortable and come with tons of features designed to make your drive time as enjoyable as possible, like heated and ventilated power seats, plenty of leg and headroom, and spacious cabins decked out in comfortable and plush materials.

make your car comfortable

Get comfy behind the wheel with a few car accessories

However, if that's still not cutting it for you, we've got tips. Check out this expert advice from our Orlando Toyota parts experts on how you can make your car more comfortable with car accessories.

Tip #1: Keep the air in your cabin as clean as you can.

A great way to ensure you're comfy behind the wheel is to keep the air inside the cabin of your Orlando Toyota as clean as possible. This means checking, cleaning, and changing your cabin air filter at the recommended intervals. Additionally, if you smell any musty or odd smells coming into the cabin, bring your car to Toyota of Orlando to have our techs take a look around and see what's going on.

Tip #2: Make sure your seat is adjusted.

An easy way to make the driver's seat more comfortable without even spending money on car accessories is to make sure that it's adjusted properly. Here's the breakdown: The backs of your thighs should touch the seat, but the backs of your knees shouldn't. Your feet should touch the pedals without having to stretch (or conversely, feel cramped) and your hips should be as high as your knees. Your chin should be level with your steering wheel, and your back should be straight.

Tip #3: Spend a little money. (Just a little.)

If you ARE going to drop a little cash on car accessories for comfort, we have some recommendations. You could invest in padded or heated (or both) seat covers and a steering wheel cover, lumbar support, a phone holder to keep your phone in plain sight, and air fresheners to keep your car smelling its best no matter what.

Tip #4: Get the temperature set.

Finally, make sure the temperature is right inside of your Orlando Toyota. (This is especially necessary during summer in Florida.) Stay on top of your routine car care so your air conditioner AND heater (and defroster) all work properly at all times. This will keep your cabin comfortable no matter what it's like outside.
